Dr. Roger M. J. Roberge, general surgeon at The Moncton Hospital is proud to announce the release of the publication: "Why Me? Surviving, Coping, Living with Breast Cancer".

People diagnosed with breast cancer are often full of questions and with rapid advancement of science, more and more information is becoming available. The surplus of information found on the Internet can be overwhelming and many people just want the straight facts.
The book, self published and printed by Taylor Press (paperback $20; 128 pages), provides readers with current medical information on breast cancer and deals with the questions those afflicted by this terrible disease ask. The reader is led through coping with the challenges of his or her own situation and details how to console friends and family in a time of deep stress. There is also a CD-R on Breast Self Examination included with the book.
Proceeds from the sale of the book will be shared with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Katherine Wright Family Wellness Centre and the Dr. Léon Richard Oncology Centre.
